Why Merino Wool?

Merino wool is valued for its natural ability to regulate temperature and moisture. Wool fibers absorb moisture vapor and gradually release it to the outside, helping create a drier and more comfortable microclimate around the body.

The natural structure of the fiber also allows good air circulation, so the pillow does not create the same feeling of overheating that can occur with some synthetic fillings.

Wool also has the natural ability to buffer temperature fluctuations: it retains warmth when needed and helps dissipate excess heat as body temperature rises. This is one of the reasons wool has been used for generations in products designed for sleep and rest.

Firm Filling for Support

The 400 g of Merino wool create a high-firmness filling designed to provide consistent support and retain its shape during use.

The pillow is not a medical product and does not treat spinal conditions. However, its shape allows children to find a comfortable sleeping position with support between the arms and legs. Supporting the area between the knees and bringing the legs into a more natural position relative to the pelvis may encourage a better-aligned sleeping posture.

Two Covers – Both Removable and Washable

An important advantage of this pillow is its system of two separate covers, both equipped with zippers:

1. Inner Cover – 100% Ranforce Cotton

The inner cover contains and protects the wool filling. It can be completely removed using the zipper, making maintenance easier and, when necessary, providing access to the filling.

2. Pillowcase – 100% Ranforce Cotton

The outer, decorative cover provides the pillow with its finished appearance. It can also be completely removed using the zipper and washed separately.

This means that both the inner cover and the outer pillowcase are removable, making maintenance much easier than with a pillow featuring a fixed cover.

Care Instructions

To preserve the natural properties of the wool, the wool filling should not be washed. Regular airing of the pillow is recommended, with longer airing and exposure to sunlight approximately once a year.

Only the two cotton covers should be washed, after removing them from the wool filling. Wash them on a suitable laundry cycle and always follow the care instructions on the label.
